Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy, also known as Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT), is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses high-energy acoustic waves to stimulate healing and alleviate pain in various musculoskeletal conditions. This therapy delivers acoustic waves to the affected area. These waves generate mechanical forces that trigger cellular responses, increase blood flow, promote tissue regeneration, and modulate pain perception.
exosome therapy

Exosomes are extracellular vesicles that play a significant role in cell-to-cell communication and are involved in various physiological and pathological processes. In recent years, exosomes have gained attention in the field of orthopedics for their potential therapeutic applications. Here’s some information about exosomes in orthopedics.

Platelet- Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a medical treatment that utilizes a concentrated form of platelets derived from a person’s own blood. PRP contains growth factors and other bioactive substances that promote tissue healing and regeneration.

EMG & Nerve Condition Studies

EMG & Nerve Condition Studies

An electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction study is a specialized test of your nerves and muscles which is used to diagnose or identify the cause of symptoms like numbness, tingling, burning pain, pins and needles sensation, or muscle weakness. First, an electrical impulse is used to stimulate some nerves in your upper and/or lower extremities, which will allow Dr. Jeannot to assess how rapidly and effectively your nerves are working. In other words, we are measuring how fast and how strongly your nerves are sending signals to your muscles. In other cases, the brain and spinal cord are not sending the right impulse to the nerves. Then, during the electromyography, a very small, thin needle is inserted into your muscles to record their electrical activity and evaluate if your nerves are sending the correct signals to those muscles.
